Fan-Created Video For AFTER FOREVER SONG Hits Home With Environmentalists
July 3, 2007Created as a tribute to Live Earth Day on 07-07-07, a fan of the Dutch band AFTER FOREVER has used "Equally Destructive" to provide music lovers with a stark reminder of the current, urgent state of the global environment. Initiated by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and the Alliance for Climate Protection, the Live Earth Day event — scheduled to take place on July 7, 1007 concurrently in eight cities around the world (New York, London, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, Tokyo, Syndney, and Hamburg) — seeks to use music as a platform "to engage people on a mass scale to combat our climate crisis." The concert series will bring together over 100 music artists and reach over 2 billion people via television, radio, internet, and wireless channels of the global media. AFTER FOREVER will embark on their first North American tour in October which includes a performance at ProgPower USA VIII festival in Atlanta, Georgia.
